Serpent was relaxing which he rarely ever did, he wasn't really making it peaceful for himself though, considering he was throwing darts at a target he made on his wall, it was almost as if Serpent couldn't enjoy his time unless he was using weapons. Serpent continued throwing darts every time he missed the bulls eye he took a nice puff of his pipe to relieve stress, though most of the time he managed to hit the bullseye, which was strange due to the fact that he had one eye, luckily his eyes had 21/21 vision so he was above the average humans eyesight. Few moments later however a Vanguard soldier came rushing in Serpents dorm, "Serpent we have received an assignment, to head towards the great range and investigate an illegal weapon distribution, earlier today we had an undercover merchant approach the area where the illegal distribution was going on and to our luck we have evidence that their is in fact an illegal weapons distribution camp around the great range, we know that they will be well armed and we need someone with good scouting and infiltration experience to help the trainee's, please Serpent we need your help" the man said. Serpent responded to the man "Alright, don't wet your pants soldier, tell the men to ready themselves in the armory, we will meet up outside the Vanguard headquarters" after Serpent finished he continued smoking his pipe. "Yes Sir, I shall ready them ASAP" the man replied as he left his dorm.
