| It had been two weeks. Two weeks ago she ran into the old Mage. She didn't know who he was but when he touched her on shoulder. Nothing had been there but she was careful to the point that ever sense then she had stayed in her illusion form. The end of last week a marking appeared on her arm. It freaked her out and she had an idea why it was there. So being very careful traveled by foot to the tower of magi. She finally got there and she was very tired. She was breathing heavily and felt like she was going to pass out. She got up go the door and knocked. She stood up for about 4 minutes staring at a closed door. She collasped and faded into blackness. She hadn't slept for days so she could get here as fast as she could. A reflex activated in the back of her mind to keep the illusion up when she was out. Then she fainted. | |

| The Shadow Guard had just reported the Elf's arrival at the Tower of Magi. He had already known how rough, and long her journey was to the Tower of Magi, for the Marking he had given her had given that away, it acted as a camera, as well as a communicating device. The Curse had come from Nox Eternus's genius, and that was all. There were no helpful exterior forces. The Shadow Guard had then asked in their strange tongue whether or not the Nox Eternus would like them to take her to him. Nox Eternus said no, and instead to put her in the infirmary, where she'd be able to recover back to her consciousness. The Shadow Guards bowed, and pursued the Elf.
Two of these Secret Policemen of Nox Eternus had arrived at the location she had collapsed against. She was knocked out cold, when they examined her intelligently, they realized she hadn't been drinking water or eating any food. No Elf or Human in their right mind would be able to survive such conditions, however, they ignored their suspicions, and recovered the woman's body, bringing it back to the infirmary. Right when they got to the entrance of the massive Infirmary down in the basement of the Tower, they had vanished to report it back to their Master. A Senior Monk, an Elf, named Udt Tse'lanii had arrived at the entrance, sensing some type of disturbance, only to discover a female Elf like herself lying on the ground unconcsious, she ordered two other Monks to get her on one of the beds to be examined. They placed her on one of the many empty beds of the Infirmary, and her examinations began. It would take them about an hour to finish their complex examinations of her medical status, and it would take them 3 more hours at least to get her awake, and out of the dangerous state she appeared to be in.
Nox Eternus was on his Throne, he smirked deviously, he had expected that she'd yearn for him, seeking her reasons for being one with such a mark. It had happened to many outside of the Circle of Magi. Afterall, every Member in the Circle of Magi had the Curse, some still without even realizing it. Even the greatest Monks have it, and the Curse is so powerful that they haven't yet come up with a Spell to counter it, not that many were working on making such a thing anyway. Some, even with knowing how they got their Mark understand its usefulness to their Faction's Leader, and simply accept and understand it without a problem. Nox Eternus's Secret Police, the Shadow Guard had reported that she had arrived in the Infirmary, and that she was under the care of the Circle of Magi Monks, who were apart of the Faction's Medical Division, which consisted primarily of Monks, but also of normal Doctors, Proffessors and Nurses. Nox Eternus's only reply was... "...I know."

| Morrigan woke up the next day in a bed. "The the hell." was the first thing she said. A elderly monk then came up to her. "Your in the Circle of Mai infirmary." said the monk. Morrigan sat up and saw that she was in a hospital gown. "Were the hell are my clothes?" snapped morrigan. The monk jumped back and told one of his nurses to get her clothes. 15 minutes later the nurse came back with her clothes. The nurse seemed to be a very young monk. Morrigan guessed that she was around 12. She took her clothes and with out caring got changed. She then got up and began walking. But the elder monk blocked her path. "I'm sorry I can't let you leave for another 24 hours." said the monk. This made morrigan pissed. "Look i need to find the one who gave me this." said Morrigan showing him the mark. The monk studied the mark. "The mark is from the Arch mage and i'm sorry you can't see him, he only see him if he wants to see you." | |

| Nox Eternus had heard everything the Monks and the Elf were saying from on his Throne, since both of them shared the same Mark. After a few hours, Nox Eternus had felt it was about time the Elf meet him. Instead of going down there himself, because that would be unlike him, and because that wasn't as secure, he had chosen to send one of his Shadow Guard. Rarely would people, especially members within the Tower of Magi met his Shadow Guards, because they were given orders not to communicate with others, for the sake of trust, so, it would be a strange experience, even for the Monks within the Infirmary. "Go to her, and bring her to me." He demanded from on his Throne. One of his Shadow Guards quickly darted off...
Soon enough, it had arrived at the Infirmary's front door. The Shadow Guard knew the Tower of Magi very, very well. Its secrets and history, as well as its rooms, and accesses. One of the Monk's, an Elderly Male, had greeted the Shadow Guard with a slight bow. They weren't ugly Demons, but, they were still Demons, so, even in their presence it had made things akward. The Shadow Guard began looking around the room, without even moving. "Y-You must be looking for the Elf that we had found by our door... S-She's right over there." The Elderly Monk pointed the Elf out. It appeared that she had gotten some food to eat, and beverages to drink, she was in a much better condition. The Shadow Guard beckoned for the Elf to come its way using its hand. It waited for her to get up, and approach it.

| Morrigan finished eating then got up. She was a bit scared of the demon looking things. She followed the thing as they walked the. It was a large tower but they got there fast. They got to the room and Morrigan was pushed in. When she turned to look at the thing it was gone. "Now thats scary." said Morrigan to no one. | |

| Morrigan had reached the Arch Mage's large corridor. Very rarely are others able to enter the room, which was literally at the height of the Tower. If you looked out one of the various windows, you could overlook a large portion of the Great Plains, and a couple remote, small Villages. There used to be more, but, no one ever noticed, and only those that have been living in the Great Plains for over a 100 years or so, would notice. Around his room are some areas for Research, a few clocks, and many unique artifacts and some fancy statues. There were some more detail, but, it'd take some time to describe how marvelous the Arch Mage's Quarters were. There weren't very many Shadow Guards within his Quarters, it expressed a certain hospitality. The Arch Mage sat still on his Throne, his arms were laid against the arms of the Throne, and his legs stretched out, as he sat comfortably. "Hello Morrigan... I had known you'd come here eventually. You are quite the Special Guest, are you not?" He had asked. The Monks had given her comfort, recovered her, and she was being treated nicely within the Tower of Magi, even trusted enough to personally see the Arch Mage himself. "I ask you this though, have you seeked me out? And if so, why?" The Arch Mage knew her response, but, he waited for her to answer herself. | |

| Morrigan grabbed her shirt and pulled part of it down to show him her shoulder. "I came here for one reason." said Morrigan ticked off. "I told you I didn't want to be a mage. What happened was a one time thing." Morrigan paused a bit. "I want to return to the way my life was." said Morrigan. "So will you kindly remove it?" | |

| "You desire that which I cannot give you. That mark is a strange one." The Arch Mage said sternly, he began examining it, as if for the first time. "Although I am the Arch Mage, I am unable to lift such a Mark from your shoulder, I'm sorry Elf. Perhaps with time I will discover a way to remove that odd Mark." The Arch Mage added sternly. "However, I fear we will lost contact, if we do... You may always have that Mark on you." He warned. The Arch Mage waited for a response from the woman, he continued sitting on his throne patiently, but always alert. | |

| "What hell you jackass!" yelled Morrigan. "What didn't you get by i didn't want to be a mage. From what i was told it's given to every mage." Morrigan let out of scream on anger. "Why the hell did you even give it to me. I was happy then you screw up my life!" yelled Morrigan. Morrigan waited for the arch mage to answer. "Why did you make a spell with no reversal?" | |

| "That Marking was not made by me, I assure you." The Arch Mage informed the Elf. "Also, you are a Mage either way, if you use the power of Magical Ink, you are indeed a Mage." The Arch Mage stated. Who had told the Outsider of my Mark? Ahh... Wait, as I recall, it was one of our most Senior Monks... Curse that woman. Thought the Arch Mage to himself. Telepathically, the Arch Mage could communicate with all his creations indefinately. He had ordered a secret execution for the Elderly Monk, this order was given to a couple of his Shadow Guards who were capable of getting everything done, and covering everything up excellently, he knew he could put it in their hands. "I had no idea you had such a temper, Morrigan." The Arch Mage said, he actually was a bit suprised, but he didn't express it facially. It added on to his suspicions, how she was speaking, and the powerful rage she was releasing was certainly unlike an Elves. He waited for her to respond. | |

| "I only get anger if something like this happens." said Morrigan pointing at her mark. "Also the fact people think elves done have tempers is stereotypical!" She started pacing back and forth rambling how he ruined her life. "Well if you didn't make who did!" yelled Morrigan. "And why didn't who ever make it make a reversal!" Morrigan paused. "And i don't care if i could use magical ink I don't want to be a mage." yelled Morrigan. "I just wanted to be an artist and it was fine till you did this to me!" | |

| "I have no idea who made that Mark, Morrigan... It's not a Spells i'm at all familiar with, which is why I currently don't have a solution for reversing it." The Arch Mage replied, his facial expression was a soft one when he spoke. "I apologize that you have to suffer the confusion, but there is nothing I can do for you right now." The Arch Mage said apologetically. "I am certain however, that pacing back and forth and having a tantrum won't solve anything." He warned. | |

| "Why the hell are you using a spell you know nothing about!" yelled Morrigan. "I don't buy the fact that you can do anything about! You learned it from someone so why don't you ask the someone how to get this thing off of me!" Morrigan rarely got this angry. But this made her angry because she figured out a way to get rid of it but she had to act like a novice and not do anything. Morrigan continued to yell about how he screwed up her life and how she would probably be forced to become a Mage. She though she heard a knock and someone asking if everything was ok but she kept on yelling and pacing. | |

| The Elf had gotten louder, and more obnoxious then she ever had been. It was pretty obvious she'd be upset, but the Arch Mage had no idea that she'd be this upset, especially since she had no idea what the Mark does. "I hadn't used any Spell on you. I've been trying to state this for the past 20 minutes. I am sorry, but I cannot lift that Mark from your shoulder, I am puzzled about it myself." The Arch Mage said strongly. There was suddenly a knock on the Arch Mage's door. Someone had asked if anything was wrong, probably one of the Arch Mage's various attendants who would somtimes get the permission to attend to the current Arch Mage. The yelling had stopped, only briefly. "Yes, everything is under control. You are dismissed, i'd like no more interruptions." The Arch Mage demanded. The attendant just backed off after the Arch Mage spoke. | |

| Morrigan stopped yelling and breathed heavily. "Why did you even use it in the first place?" questioned Morrigan. "Is there a reason you want me around? I told you I didn't want to join but for whatever reason did you want me around so much that you did this!?!?!" Morrigan breathed heavily then continued. "Is there another reason other then that you wanted me as a magi. Is it a personal reason?" questioned Morrigan loudly. "If so do tell you already dragged me in this far!" | |

| "Calm down Morrigan... I already told you, I have nothing to do with the Mark on your body. Besides, what would that odd Mark have to do with you being apart of the Circle of Magi? You are acting strangely." He pointed out. It was a Spell he made, no one in the World knew exactly how it was made or what it did, so, it didn't make sense that she even had a clue to what it does. The Arch Mage patiently waited for her to respond, he was growing tired of the irritable Elf, close enough to the point of dismissing here, he didn't need her at all for his Faction to do well. It was more for a personal reason, one which would allow him to watch over her, due to Balbutio's effect, he knew she was suspicious, and now that he had a permanent eye over her, he would eventually receive the facts revolving around the image. | |

| "Look here." said Morrigan. "But this mark, whatever it does probably has to do with the caster somehow being conneted to me. Just because I said I didn't want to be a magi doesn't mean that I didn't think of becoming one I did read about it. And from what it sounds like it seems like a curse I don't know the monk wouldn't talk about it. But what I read about curses is that they always give the caster the advangtage in some way. And FYI your the caster so tell me what the hell it does!" Morrigan continued to pace. "And I don't know what it does is bull." said Morrigan. "Your the damn arch Mage! I have a gut feeling you know and my gut hasn't failed me yet!" | |

| "Once more Morrigan, I have no idea what that Mark on your shoulder does, and I am not the one who gave it to you. Although i'm the Arch Mage, it afterall is only a Title. In the past Arch Mages haven't been the best of the best when it comes to Magic, and I assure I don't find myself to be the best now. If you continue to disrespect me in my own corridors, then I will dismiss you." The Arch Mage said sternly, he was getting frustrated with Morrigan. "You have come all this way for something... And if all you came here for was hope that I had information about that Mark, you were wrong, for I do not know what it is. Do you have anything else to say?" He asked her patiently. | |

| Morrigan flicked the Arch Mage off. "Screw you!" yelled Morrigan walking out the door. She wandered the tower till she found a supply closet. She took some sting, a needle and a vail of ink. She then stromed out of the tower and a mile or two away sat in the tall grass. "I know this is a curse but till I can remove it I need to black it out." said Morrigan under her breathe barely hearing herself talk. She tied one end of the string around the needle and put the rest of the string in the ink. She brought the point of the needle to her skin. She took a deep breath and pushes the need in her skin. Breaking the skin on the other side she pulled the needle and string through. Ok, hard part done. thought Morrigan. The whole reason was do that she could get the ink under her skin. She then moved the ink over the mark changing it to the shape of the mark. The ink was magical but it wasn't what made the Mage. Morrigan added some of her power to make the seal more powerful and hopefully block what ever it does. She hope she didn't just to that for nothing. She looked down at her handy work. She was sure that she blocked it even if it wasn't from the arch Mage. | |

| (OOC: The Curse hasn't been sealed. Remember, the Arch Mage creates only the most powerful Spells, so it'd be way too soon, and unfair if a Character could simply seal his curses away.)
One of the Shadow Guards had asked whether or not the Arch Mage wanted them to take care of her or not in their strange tongue. The Arch Mage simply nodded his head no, and rested his head in the palm of his right hand stressfully. "As long as I have her in my grasp... There is still a use in having her bound to me in that way." He replied to the Shadow Guards. "Keep an eye on her from the shadows, you can report back to me once she is away from the boundaries of the Tower of Magi, and the rest of these forsaken Plains..." The Arch Mage ordered calmly. The three Shadow Guards nodded in understanding of his motives and plan, then they turned around, and dashed off like shadows, or like leaves in the wind.
